EFT

EFT is an example of the many new possibilities for healing the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. It is an efficient and fast technique which explains its appeal and fast growing popularity. EFT is sometimes described as "emotional acupuncture," because it helps to balance the body's energy system. EFT is well known worldwide and is being used by a variety of health professionals including physicians, nurses, alternative health care providers, psychologists and psychiatrists.

    How does it work?

The mind/body energy system is "realigned" by tapping on acupressure points along the meridians (energy pathways in the body), while tuning into a specific problem or issue. The goal is to change energetic pathways from the past which sabotage growth and fulfillment. More importantly, this technique is a tool that you can learn to use on yourself to assist in maintaining your new energy lines and accompanying belief systems.

EFT is based on Dr. Callahan's work with emotional discomfort. He states that distress is caused by a disruption in body's energy system. He combined the ancient wisdom of acupuncture with more contemporary techniques such as kineseology. Gary Craig, took it a step forward and created the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).Anyone interested in helping themselves or others benefits from EFT.
